Words and photos can only go so far when trying to convey traveling to Japan this past spring. I have done my share of traveling, but this was a place that felt more foreign than any others I've been to. In every way, the culture and surroundings were new to me, down to the most minute details like which side of an escalator you use. The sights, sounds, people, and landscapes beyond Tokyo are all things I will never forget. We walked more miles than I could count each day, full with the excitement that can only come when experiencing a new country for the first time. It is one of the most peaceful and orderly society's I have ever witnessed, except when crossing the street, which is pure insanity. This is a collection of photos from that time.
